"WE DO THE REPAIR, WE DO NOT SEND IT OUT EXPERIENCE IS WHAT WE USE AT AKINSCOMP"

THIS PAGE IS ENTIRELY DEDICATED TO MY LATE HARD                         WORKING, HONEST FATHER

Biography of Owner and Founder of "AkinsComp Services"

Late Pa Emmanuel was born on April 20th 1920 to late John Odubote Osisanya a.k.a.  “Oran Mon ni ‘se Fayati of Itun Moko Ikenne and late Dorcas Oke Osisanya a.k.a. “Iya Adeoye, Iya alate of Itun ‘gbaroko Ikenne. He was the only child of his parents.

He attended Saint Savior's school in Ikenne, with the help of his mother who was determined that her only son would be educated.

In 1945 he left Ikenne with the help of his mother’s relative Late Daddy Alake Onabanjo (The 1st black chief Loco Inspector in Nigeria) who helped him to secure a life job in the Nigerian Railways on February 2nd 1946.

During his time in the Railways as a driver, he would never say “No” to a call. He was very hard working and he took his job very seriously. On his last route (Offa-Jebba Kwara state, Nigeria), where they called him “Baba Ijebu” he was a popular driver, who would always take a train running late (Ibadan - Offa) from Offa to Jebba at the scheduled time.

On August 16th 1984 he retired to Ikenne until his last day on earth.

He believed and planted in his children that the only gift he would give us was to get all of us Educated. To who has the glory, his first achievement was in 1980 when his daughter Oyinade got her Master’s degree at University of Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria.

In his life portfolio, he witnessed his children with Masters, Bachelors, HND degrees. He was very interested in Education for his children and Grandchildren that one week before he started his new journey he traveled to Lagos to see his youngest grand children going to school. On that day he followed them to the school and waved his last bye bye to them at the school’s gate, not knowing that was his last bye.

Looking back to my last face-to-face conversation with my father on 19th August 1998. My father (Bami) was full of joy, he remarked with an air of accomplishment that “Adeoye can see all his grandchildren, Thank God almighty, “sugbon ile iya mi won i ti ilekun e o! Then I asked for his diary and he said, when you return you will find it there, he brought it out I wrote the important information down we both laughed. If I had known that was the last time of seeing my father I would had spent more time talking with him instead of promising him a December that did not come and will never come, but God knows better.

He was expecting death to come, he was never afraid, he used to say “ojo Kan ni akuko ma ko lehin omokunrin” we taught he was joking, but reality is here today.

When again would I hear “Hello? Hello?

“Yes! Heh Heh, Ada fun e

                                          “Emi Ade!!!!

“Ese ko dara……………”

                                         “Agbati tide! “

“Are you sure? O da e loju? o.k.!”

“It’s alright, ti e bati ni beni be nani”

“Olorun ma ni Oku lo nsoro”

“Mi le fi ule yere mi sile!”

Like any mortal, my father had his own bad times and sad moments, but most of his life, he was a happy man. He was a river to all his children and people around him for their daily needs.

We will forever remember him as a strong, hardworking man who spent the good time of his life for taking care of his children.

Reality is here today, it was hard for us to believe that our father was gone, but he is gone.

If the dead ones see each other say our warmest greetings to your father and tell Iya alate that we say hello and thanks to her. We still love her!

We all love you, Bami ma sun o!  “ORUN RE O"
